The BEST and last truly honest company around! Our furnace died on Christmas Eve and we held out calling anyone for a few days. I contacted Gilbert Williams Industries Ltd to request a quote for a new furnace (ours is 17 years old and at some point there is no use throwing good money after bad). Cory promptly came out and after a quick look and stated that the furnace would not be too expensive to fix and he figured we could still get some years out of it. We were ECSTATIC! Another company, over the phone, had told us it would be too expensive to fix and not worth it. Cory didn’t have the part but went 20km to get the part and came back promptly. The furnace is purring like a kitten and we are toasty warm. He even did some preventative maintenance while he had the furnace apart! The invoice came today and the cost was LESS than Cory quoted. I would not hesitate to call them again!

We recently had a problem with our on-demand water heater. This also ran our in-floor heating. This is the second time we have used your services and we were very pleased with the service you were able to provide for us both times.
Your receptionist was very pleasant and was a good liaison. Mike, your technician, was very easy to work with. He diagnosed the problem quickly, provided several options to solve the problem and gave a rough estimate for each. After the availability of parts was determined, Mike and I came to the most feasible solution due to the somewhat unique circumstances. As it took several days to get the part from the States, it was nice to be kept apprised of the situation and the soonest possible time to book an appointment to get the job done. We were also very grateful that you were able to supply us with some heaters to keep our basement warm and thereby saving us some money for additional expenses that may have been incurred to keep pipes from freezing due to the bitter weather outside. It was also very pleasing that you came in slightly under the estimate provided even though there was some additional work done to hopefully circumvent any future problems and a new filter was installed at no cost.
Thank you so much for making a most unpleasant situation tolerable. I would have no problems recommending your services to anyone and be sure that we will continue to use you should the need arise.
